Pregnant ladies: will you be getting the flu shot? If you already got it please answer yes.

I've never had the flu shot so I am not yet sure what to do. I am leaning against taking it. Interested in your choice.

It's all about your baby - you can die from flu and your baby can more so. For me ALL THE BENEFITS OUTWEIGH ANY RARE RISK! I didn't vaccinate just for me last year but I did for my baby this year 100%.

Nope!!! Never have, never will. Won't even let my 6yr old get one. Flu shots this year are based off of the last known strain from the previous flu season. Doesn't logically do any good against this years mutated strain until they have created enough of the unactivated virus.

I had it last week, I never had it before and never had flu but I think on my baby now,and I'm feeling great after take it,no side effects or anything else

I have never gotten it but my doctor said getting it is more for baby than you, so I will when I get over this cold lol 😂

Can someone explain to me the reasons some choose not to get it? I got it because I thought that was a just a normal thing to do in pregnancy to protect yourself and the baby..

I've never had the flu or the flu shot until this a few weeks ago. My dr. informed me that the flu can kill my unborn child and possibly myself since I'm pregnant. It's no longer about me, and I didn't hesitate to protect him.

I never had the flu and never got the flu shot but where I work require you to have one I for mine and a few days later found out i was pregnant. I had no issues whatsoever my son was born healthy and still is. I now get the shot to help protect myself and my son.

I get it every year. Just got mine yesterday. Only side effect I have is a slightly sore arm. 👍🏻
