surgery in two weeks

Been trying to conceive baby #3 for a little over a year now, been off the depo shot since august 2015, been taking opk for the passed four-five months.. no luck, so I make a doctor appointment and go, get the full (basic) work up. They prescribe me progesterone for 10 days and tell me to come back in 3 weeks. I went back on October 10th got the same tests again, internal and external unltrasound and blood work, apparently I have a decent sized cyst that needs to be removed. Apparently that is the reason I am. It ovulating. Do they set the surgery for November 4th.. army doctor told me to prepare myself depending on the damage they might have to remove the ovary completely..any advice, kind words, happy endings would be nice
