Mucus Plug?

Question

i think i might have just lost my mucus plug after i got out of the shower. it was thick clear and white jelly looking and was an amount the size of a quarter. i'm 37+5. i know a lot of women have bloody or brown mucus plugs so i just want to make sure that it's possible what i had could be it before i tell SO to be prepared for a baby any day! i'm also noticing some leaking as im sitting? i'm a first time mom and have no idea what to expect so i'm sorry if i sound like a worry wart!! TIA ☺️❤️

Losing your plug doesn't mean you'll go into labor soon unfortunatly. Some people lose it multiple times over their pregnancy, or lose pieces the whole time. I've been losing bits and pieces for months. 
Now the leaking thing may be something you wanna keep an eye on, as that could be your water but it very well could just be discharge. So that's something you'll wanna watch.

But as for the plug it's not a definite sign of labor being close

Sounds like yes it was your mucus plug. Being that you are this far along it will not grow back. It does mean you are thinning which is a good. Just because you lost it now though it could still be another 2 weeks till labor. Both my kids came 2 days after loosing it. Good signs. 
The leaking I'm unsure about.

I lost my mucus plug at 23 weeks, it builds itself back up once you loose it, it doesnt mean your going into labour. However if your leaking then your waters might have broken? If you keep leaking then id phone a doctor and see what they want you to do :) goodluck
