depo provera and periods

So I had my first depo shot on sept 6th within the first 5 days of my period. I just now got my period again two days ago. And it's super light. I know the shot can alter your period and stop it but I was wondering when it would completely stop or if it will. And I know everybody is different and stuff but I just wanted to hear other people's experiences. Thanks in advance!! 😘
