Delayed cord clamping.

🦇𝓡
I read a post on delayed cord clamping the other day on here and I was interested. I'm doing a bit of research now. I'm TTC, but I want to be prepared and need something to fill my time. I'll probably go back, reread and do more research when the time is more appropriate, but I was wondering what experiences moms have had with delayed cord clamping. I've read that it's beneficial, but I've also read that it can cause jaundice, which doesn't make sense to me. If 1/4 of the baby's blood is still in the placenta, don't they need it? Isn't it good to let them get their blood back? Any and all advice/experiences/opinions are welcome. Please feel free to share or ask questions, even if you haven't had experiences with it. Also feel free to share any research you've found. Any opinions or comments that are stated in an outright rude and distasteful manner will be reported and hopefully removed. Have fun conversing. :)
