-Are you bringing your diaper bag and Hospital bag when you deliver?

My hospital no longer provides formula to take home with you. They want to promote breastfeeding as much as possible ans they have put up flyers everywhere saying no formula will be provided to take home. I'm bringing everything my baby needs with me. I don't want to use their rough blankets and such anyway.

My sister said to bring my toothbrush,  toothpaste,  deodorant (because what they have sucks),  and a baby nail file because all babies are born with talons.  Everything else,  they have.   She's a post partum nurse and I'm delivering at her hospital.

The hospitals here don't give anything apart from formula milk if the baby doesn't breastfeed straight away and that's only in emergency cases... like really? My midwife told me "it's your baby so you have bring whatever you feel you need". Baby's bag has literally everything from nappies to bepanthen, ready made formula milk just in case, to his going home outfit. Oh and mustn't forget the blankets and towels seeing as the hospitals here are pretty stingy.

At most hospitals they provide everything for baby that you'd need other than going home clothing obviously. I didn't bring my diaper bag only his going home outfit & blanket.
