PCOS What gives???

So I was told I've got PCOS ok, well that sucks :( So for the last 3 weeks I've been bleeding off and on. Any range of of flow. Well the past 3 mornings I've been passing clots from about 6am to 10am then it stops. Then I carry on with my day as if nothing. No more blood no pain even with the clots. So I talk to my Dr. and she says "yep that's normal, you've got PCOS" So is it actually normal?
