fitting infant car seat in a truck?

Our car that we usually transport baby in has to be in th repair shop for a few days. That leaves us with a truck (Toyota Tacoma with access cab). Does anyone know if a car seat can fit in the truck, or if it's even allowed? We have a chicco key fit 30. Thanks moms!

You're probably going to have to stick it in the middle seat. With my first, we had a truck and it was the only way to secure her safely. But the drivers seat and passenger had to sit straight up. Uncomfortable for us but it was the safest way for her to sit
