std testing: what's it like?

I'm getting tested for STDs on Friday and I wanna know what to expect. Can anyone shed some light? Do you guys know how soon I'd get my results?

Nothing to be afraid of! Just remember, they are medical professionals. Tell them the truth - they will ask questions to an extent. It's super quick and simple. Not sure what you're testing for, but I'm assuming it'll either be a blood test or a urine sample. Again, depends, but my results generally come back within 2 weeks. And I agree, don't surf the Internet! 😂

I just got tested for everything because my husband and I want to start trying for a baby in a few months.  I tested on Tuesday at Quest and I had my results on Friday.  I was freaked out, infact I googled every thing known to man up until the phone call that I was negative.  My advise is, stay off the internet.
