Share Membrane Stripping Experiences

So I'm 39+1 and had an OB appointment today. Like many of you can probably relate, I'm so done being pregnant I want my little one here already. So she checked my cervix and said I was dilated to 1cm, and only 25% effaced. And as far as I've gathered that information means like nothing. So I asked her about doing the membrane stripping thing because I heard that can help get the show on the road here. It wasn't at all what I expected. It didn't hurt, and it took all of two seconds. And I was like, "That's it?" and she said because I'm strep b + she couldn't be as "forceful" as if I wasn't. But still from some of the stories on this app I expected it to be more of an ordeal. It's been 4 hours and so far nothing, I feel exactly the same. Crampy, back ache, overall uncomfortable, but I felt that way before too.

So have you had this done? How long, if at all, did you feel something afterward? Any strep b + momma's have this done? How long did the actual stripping take for you?
