Is she trying to tell me something

My baby is almost 7 weeks old. For about 3 weeks we have gone upstairs to bed at 11pm. We turn out the lights, put on our white noise machine and nurse/snuggle to sleep. Always out by midnight. This schedule was lead by her.

The last 3 days she has started screaming at about 9-930 and she screams until we go up stairs. Not her usual cry, more like a blood curdling scream with sobs in between. I've taken her upstairs progressively earlier because she is totally inconsolable.

Is she just trying to let me know that she would like to go to sleep? I thought it was gas but she settles down and goes to sleep when we go to our room. Tonight she is out at 11 (went up at 10:20) and yesterday 1130.

Is it possible that she would just like to start her bed time routine earlier? At 7 weeks is that even something she would try to communicate or is she just screaming ?
