vulvar varicosities anyone else experiencing this?

So I'm in constant discomfort. I thought I had a vaginal infection bc I've just been burning and super irritated down there for a few months. My dr gave me a swab and my results came back negative. He told me it's probably from my varicose veins and he prescribed me a steroid cream. It kinda helps, but not really. If I wear jeans it makes everything 10x worse. Anyone else experiencing this??! It's so frustrating. I was so sure it was an infection 😩

In my opinion, a steroid cream is not going to be helpful and I would not use one while pregnant. A steroid cream will not take pressure off your veins, which is causing the varacosities in the first place. This is my 3rd pregnancy and my 2nd one with vulvar varacosities. They are horrible and painful and I'm so sorry! They come back earlier and worse with each pregnancy and this pregnancy they started by 12 weeks. I highly suggest you buy a V2 Supporter off Amazon. It works wonders and will take away so much of the pain and pressure. It basically looks like a female jock strap and it's not my favorite thing to wear (certainly isn't sexy) but the difference between when I wear it and when I don't is night and day! It acts as a compression belt basically to your "lady area " and I can't sing it's praises enough. I didn't get one with my last pregnancy and just roughed it out but now that I know how much it helps, I wish I would have gotten one before!
