New study says baby to share room with parents for 1 year to protect against SIDS but...

Brittany

Ok, so by now everyone has probably seen the new study that says parents should share their bedroom with their baby until 1 years old to protect against SIDS. But I have a question:

My son currently sleeps in a bassinet besides the bed. We had talked about transitioning him to his crib in his own room at 3-4 months. Now we want to keep him in our room longer, but he will be outgrowing his bassinet soon and our bedroom is not big enough to move his crib into. How do you room share with a baby after they outgrow their bassinet or other bedside sleeper?
