Irish twins=double stroller?😁

I am expecting baby #2 Feb 2017, just 11 short months after having my first baby. Im wondering if any of you ladies with babies so close in age bought a double stroller? Did you actually use it or was it a waste? If you didnt buy a double stroller, how did you handle outings, especially when it was just you and the babies? I do have one stroller/travel system and a carrier. I sort of figured that they can just take turns in each of those, is that realistic?
