SO seeing baby come out?

I'm a bit nervous about having my hubby see the baby come out..... I know it's natural...but what if he sees that and never wants to have sex again!?

I remember when my son was newborn, I was sitting up in bed nursing him, and my ex walked in the room and just looked at me in admiration. He said, "I never knew how strong you were until you had our son."

He's my ex for a lot of reasons, but I will never forget when he told me that.

I think when a woman gives birth, their SO does see them in a new light. When he sees your child come out, he won't be thinking "omg, your vagina 😳", he will be thinking "omg, here comes my baby." And you're the woman who is giving that to him. Birth is an incredible experience for both parents. Don't worry sweets.

I was the same way about my husband looking down there and seeing everything. But he decided to look and was glad he did. He said it was amazing watching our little girl come out!! The nurse and my dr made him hold my leg so I guess it probably was hard for him not to look! But it didn't affect our sex life any! We're expecting baby #2 and he still wants me all the time!! 😊😊😊

My husband would pass out if he saw. I told him he could and asked if he wanted to help deliver the baby and he wants to be seated in a chair and not look at anything below my shoulders lol. I told him that since he doesn't want to, I want to then feel my baby crowning and when the doctor says, reach down and be the one to help deliver the rest of my baby so I can be the first to hold him/her! I can't wait. 15 weeks seems so far away yet!

He won't truly know what you did- or went through unless he sees. It will change his views on a lot of things.

I told my husband he can stay at the head of the bed or look if he wants, it totally depends on the person what they can deal with as to how they'll react.

My husband has watched all four boys come into the world. Obviously, he still wants to have sex with me ;)

First baby was a c-section, and he said seeing my vagina in births 2-4 as baby was crowning was 10x better than seeing my organs during the first's birth. He does not feel comfortable catching the baby, but will be right down there with my midwife, putting baby on my chest.
