At-home businesses?

Question

What's everyone's opinion on these? This includes It Works, Stella & Dot, Jamberry, etc. Have you found that any of these businesses actually have quality products? I'm genuinely curious to hear about what people have tried and liked! And please, don't use this as a way to promote your affiliation with any products. This isn't up to help get sales.

It works is so annoying. The people who sell it clutter social media with it constantly and hound people into selling and buying it. No I don't think a $50 body wrap works. I don't think it's inspirational when someone sells shitty products that don't work to desperate people trying to lose weight. I'm not sure about other ones because I don't see them often but usually if you have to hound people to buy your products and you need to "build a team" then I pretty much don't like it. Actually amway is like this. My parents almost divorced over amway in the late 90s/early 2000s because my dad was so into it and my mom could see how they were actually losing money by trying to build a team and selling products door to door. Overall I'm not a fan at all of these businesses.

I sell Avon. My mom use to buy it years ago and I loved the products. Now I get samples to use myself so I can promote what I'm trying to sell. So far, it's been amazing.

Younique make up is the best! I've bought Scentsy in the past and probably would more if I actually knew a dealer around me. I've gotten a few things from thirty-one. On of my friends is a dealer and she keeps bugging me to have a party and I keep putting her off....

Some of it is quality product, some of it is crap.
They are all pyramid schemes, but that doesn't mean you can't actually make decent money doing it...just know there are people under you losing money while you sit there and profit.

I've never heard of the business you listed, but I'm all for home business! I have so much respect for those who run their households and their own businesses. Owning a business is hard work 💪🏼

I have friends who make way too much money from itworks. It doesn't seem like their products would really be worth the money.
I also have a friend who sells Thrive and she does okay. She doesn't really try to push it though. I personally had great results with thrive, but I don't think I could ever sell it.

Rodan + Fields has good products and the business does work. I barely did anything with it and made about 8k since signing up in January. I used to get annoyed with all the MLM people but honestly we should try to support our friends and family who are doing these businesses instead of some huge greedy corporation. I try to buy through MLM when I can. I also do lipsense (senegence) and their stuff is amazing. The it works wraps are pretty cool, they really do work. That's all I really have experience with.

I used to sell Plexus. I loved the products but I have too much social anxiety and not enough friends so I couldn't hardly sell it. The people I know who are very social and have a lot of health-minded friends who listen to them do amazing though.

I've tried etsy before, I'm not sure if that is what you mean. I have found it's a good way to find unique things at a good price. Service has always been extra good as well.
