Low lying placenta

Yesterday around 7pm, I started bleeding a bright red. Not a lot, but then it started to clot so I went to the ER. This is the third time with bleeding, I'm a day shy of 20 weeks. The first time was week 16, and second was week 19. At week 16 they said it was just an irritated cervix. This time, they did ultrasounds and found it was a low lying placenta. I was still spotting this morning but it has slowed down. I also had my anatomy scan today and baby had a strong heartbeat and was moving around normally. My OBGYN wants to see me right away Monday to discuss my ER visit. I'm still nervous. Can someone help calm my nerves with positive stories about a low lying placenta or what exactly it could mean. They said it's not previa yet so that's a relief. Anything else?
