Changing Healthcare Coverage
I am currently 20 weeks due March 13th and I am on CoveredCA Molina HMO health insurance . I finally got a appt at 19 weeks pregnant only to find out I will not meet my obgyn doc until I go into labor and it'll be a obgyn doc that is on staff that day so I don't know who will be delivering my baby. I am a first time mom wondering if this is normal?
Has anyone had coverage like this?
I've called CoveredCA about changing Coverage but they are saying I won't be able to start new coverage until January 2017. This is crazy. I am currently stressing and crying over this because I hate this Coverage. I honestly do not know what to do...Will it be too late by then to change doc if I choose a different Coverage by January?
