Both or 1 breast per feeding?

How many rounds does your newborn go for per feeding? Does your baby usually go for 1 or both breasts? My 1 month old always does both breasts and lately does a 3rd round even. Takes his time tho like 45 min :-/ had to pump and bottle feed him recently due to thrush and he is drinking like 5 ozs, gaining lots of weight. Guess I should feel lucky but so funny how he demands both breasts, cries if i do one side because I tried that the first couple days to rest one of my nipples per feeding but nope my little man wouldn't have it
