Breastfeeding & Formula feeding question
Hello, I have been supplementing my breast milk with formula to give to my 1 week old baby girl and noticed we have a hard time putting her to sleep when we feed her formula from bottle. When we feed her my breast milk directly from my breast she always falls asleep immediately after. Is this normal or is there a reason she does not go to sleep after a formula feeding?
Also, is there a certain way you feed a newborn formula? I noticed at my breast she takes breaks to swallow but with a bottle (slow flow) she doesn't get breaks. Do I need to pause from feeding her for her?
