irregular periods

I was pregnant with my first baby and miscarried at 8 weeks. I've been doing some research and I've found out that since I have irregular periods it's going to take me much longer to get pregnant again and I have a bigger chance to miscarry again. For those of you who also have irregular periods was it easy for you to get pregnant? Did you have any complications? Did you need fertility drugs? Help!!!
