Anyone else with serious cramps on right side?

I am 36w3d today. On Friday I started getting cramps on my right side lower than the line of my belly button. They came and went. I wound up going to hospital and baby was fine. Yesterday I started with them around 5pm and they didn't leave until 3am. Around 8pm they got horrible and constant. If they left it was only for a few sec and they were back again. I would have rated them a 7 or 8. They finally went away and I was able to sleep. Nothing helped. Not laying on my left side, not sitting up, nothing. Anyone else get this?
