Due 11/12 No signs of labor, cervix isn't dilating & FTM. I'm really anxious but also nervous... shouldn't I be having some type of change or sign by now for him to come by his due date? Or Can it all just happened at once any day?

It can all happen in one day, but you can also go over, most FTMs do, but there aren't really any signs that can indicate whether your going early or late. Every pregnancy is different.

I am a day overdue and only dilated 1 cm.  My doctor said that first time moms' bodies take a little longer to start doing stuff so it's nothing to worry about. And yes, you can go from 0-10 cm in one day, so how dilated you are in the days leading up to your due date doesn't really mean anything. It's more about how engaged your baby is and if your cervix is softening. Good luck! These last couple of weeks are killer.

With my first I was 39 +6 no dilation or thinning. My ob told me it would probably be a week or so. My water broke the next day and I delivered at 40 weeks.  I was having contractions at 38+5 this time. Regular at 3 to 5 min and very strong. I went in and they sent me back home saying it wasn't active labor because my cervix wasn't changing enough. Well, I had to go back 2 hours later because the pain was just overwhelming. I was 9cm and almost ready to push.  Had the baby shortly after. You never know what your birth story will be like until it happens unfortunately  (even when you're induced).

It is very common in FTM to have no signs of labor until you actually go into labor. Baby could come today...there's really no way to tell.
But FTM generally do go past their due date(according to my doctor)

Im also due 11/12 I was checked yesterday at 38&3 and I have NO progress but in reality being "dilated" doesn't mean much until you're actually in labor. 
There are women dilated to 2-3 that are dilated like that for weeks & still go over due. 
I know of someone who wasn't dilated AT ALL and went into labor. So it really doesn't mean anything. 
It's likely to go over with your first baby apparently tho but there's still a chance of going into labor at any time!

If you are a FTM it is likely you will go past your due date. I am due the 15th and I've been at a 1cm for four weeks. My doctor says she thinks I will go past my due date since I'm just not progressing.
However, these things can definitely happen in one day too.

My first came exactly on his due date. No prior signs, not dilated early. I was still running errands around town the day before .

Today is my due date and I didn't have anything happening at my appt last week. When I went today I was 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. She did a stretch and sweep to get me to 2cm and swipe my membranes. For some it happens before and others it happens after but it'll happen when your body and your baby are ready!

Same with my first.  Nothing. I felt great, even at 40 weeks. Then boom, water broke out walking and the rest kinda flowed. Dont get discouraged. Baby will come when he is ready.
