Elective C Section

So I had my last consultant meeting today (I live in the U.K.). Was aiming for a VBAC but consultant has decided an elective c section would be the safest option for me and the baby, at 39 weeks. (I had emergency c section almost 7yrs ago). Feeling a little nervous and excited at the same time, as I get to meet my little man a week earlier than expected. Anyone else due to have a c section on/around 22nd Nov? How do you feel?
