Giving advice to minors?
This is NOT a post about judging teen pregnancy!!
I just wanted to get some honest opinions on something that's been on my mind. That's all!
I'm over 30, so well into legal adulthood. It makes me a bit nervous to offer the input and advice to 16 and 17 year olds that I'd readily offer (when appropriate, of course) to moms on this board who are over 18.
Part of me just feels out of line advising someone who is the legal and financial responsibility of another person and part of me is honestly just nervous about some crazy parent going all legal when they find an adult giving advice to their minor child.
I ABSOLUTELY believe ANY pregnant woman, regardless if her age, deserves the same support and community that the rest do!!!!! And ive replied to plenty of posts by minors in the most supportive way I can.
I just feel odd about it.
Your thoughts appreciated :) please be kind, I can't stress how much I am NOT making any judgment or wishing to withhold ANY support from teen moms!!!!!
