baby classes

How necessary are the baby classes? My husband won't be available to take them with me and I don't want to do them by myself. I know the basics like bathing a baby, swaddling, etc. I will be taking a breastfeeding class, that's one of the parts I'm most worried about. My husband has a child already so he's not new to all of this.
