difficulty healing after second degree tear : (

Has anyone here had issues with healing after they tore during labor? I only had a second degree tear on September 13 when I gave birth to my daughter. But at my 6 week appointment my doctor said that I wasn't healing correctly and applied silver nitrate to the tear. I went back yesterday for a follow up appointment and my doctor said it looked worse! I guess i also tore up inside my vagaina...I now have to go back next week and get local anesthesia to have a piece of vaginal skin removed...I'm super nervous. And I just don't understand why I haven't healed correctly...I'm going on 8 weeks pp. My poor husband lol we still haven't been able to have sex!! I just want to heal and be back to normal!
