I'm needing advice
Baby will be 3 weeks old Monday, I was breastfeeding until I was put on antibiotics for an infection in my incision site a week ago. While breastfeeding my son would spit up a lot. I've been feeding him formula since being on the meds because it's dried up my milk. The spitting up has escalated to projectile vomiting. It doesn't happen EVERY time he eats. And when I'm feeding him, I make sure to take frequent breaks to burp him. He vomits so badly, it chokes him, and comes out of his nose as well. It happens at night too. Luckily I hear him and can jump up to flip him so he's no laying on his back. He's not gaining weight like he should, and I'm worried he's not getting enough nutrition because he's not keeping enough down, plus the possibility of suffocating himself. Can anyone give me any tips to help , or possible solutions? Anything? Please!
