how to heat breast milk?

I have a family get together tomorrow so I pumped for my DD but we are going to a restaurant and so I'm not sure how to heat it up. Can I just take it out of the fridge and wait until it's room temp to give it to her? Or will it not be good? Do I need to keep it in a lunch box with an ice pack even if I'm only going to be gone for maybe 2 hours?

I always take the bottle out for up to a few hours before! A guide I have says it can be from fridge to room temperature for up to 6 hours.

Otherwise you could probably ask for a glass (or even bowl) of warm water!

When we would eat out I would ask the waiter for a cup of tea (they don't put the bag in) and an extra mug.

I was in a rut with no hot water once and I just gave my baby a cold bottle she loved it.... If the milk freshly expressed it can last up to 6 hours at room temp.
