PCOS and Autism

Hey Ladies! I was scrolling through the glorious FB and an article came up about the top five pregnancy conditions that could lead to autism. Naturally I clicked on it and bam, number one condition is supposedly PCOS. And before getting pregnant mine was being controlled with medications and diet. The article (and I do apologize for not checking the source) indicated that in a study from 1984-2007, 59% of the babies from the study had autism. I am not familiar enough with autism to know if there is any truth or reasoning behind this claim as the article couldn't provide any evidence. Anyone familiar with autism or how/if PCOS contributes to a child being born with it? As usual FB has gotten me all worked up!
