Went to labor and deliver at 2pm yesterday after having contractions 5 mins apart since 5:30 am. I was 38+4 and not dilated. Once we arrived we discovered I was still not dilated and they weren't sure why I was contracting. They progressed in intensity but not enough for me to dilate. Finally around 9ish I had dilated to around 1-2 but they still weren't ready to do my c section that had originally been scheduled for Friday November 11. I was in so much pain since I don't handle pain well. Finally around 12:30am I was 3-4cm and they called in the dr and the or team (my dr wasn't on call this weekend). My little princess was born at 1:56am weighing 6lbs 1.6oz and we are soooooo
