Delivered 26w 6days.

On October 20th I began having contractions. Being as I have a history of preterm labor I went to L&D to be checked. They told me my contractions were definitely about 2-3mins apart. At that time my cervix was closed. They started me on Mag to stop my contractions. An hour later I was dilated to 1.5cm then went to 3. I then was admitted and watched carefully. I began having slight bleeding. They told me once the bleeding stopped I would be able to have a test done to see if I had a chance of going back into active labor. While waiting impatient for the days to pass bleeding finally stopped. Then Oct 30th 10 days later I went to the bathroom got back in bed but feel warm fluid. I called my nurse told her I thought my bag was leaking she did a nitrazine stick test. It was positive. Called the Dr to do a pool test to see if fluid was present but before the Dr came in I had a huge gush of fluid. OMG!! my water broke!. They then said I had to be in the hospital until delivery and they would induce at 34 weeks if I hadn't gone on my own. Well around 10:30 pm Nov 5th I started having contractions 4 mins apart. I waited to see if there was a pattern. They got more intense so I called my nurse. When the Dr came in they had increased to 2 mins apart. I was checked and had dilated to a 4. I went from 4 to complete within 10 mins contractions were hitting me in waves. At 1 :14 am my son was born. Natural vaginal delivery without any medications administered. 2Ibs 3oz. He's in NICU now and doing very well.
