cramping before Bowel Movement HELP!

So just now I got this cramp which was kinda painful, and I may have gotten it because I was holding in my poo and (TMI) I just wanted to know if this was normal, it kind of scared me it came out of no where and now that it's all passed I feel fine and no cramps or bleeding this is happening whenever I have to wee and poo anything similar happening to you or happened?
