medicine and birth control

Are there any over the counter medicines that you ladies know of that mess with the effectiveness of birth control? I'm trying to be as safe as possible and just don't want to mess anything up. I've googled and got a long list of prescription but I wanted to ask in case anyone has ever had that experience of it happening.
