Tips for birth control

I will be going on birth control in the next week. My mother and I decided that the Kyleena (new form of IUD; similar to Skyla) is the best decision for me! Does anyone have any advice for going in to it and what to expect for the weeks after? I am in a relationship and while I am not getting birth control just to have sex, it is a topic my boyfriend and I have been discussing. Any advice helps!! Thank you :)
