trying to conceive

Hi ladies , my names Tori & im new to the App. ! My husband & I are trying to conceive & im currently 9 days away from my next period . We faithfully did it every day of ovulation & I got ovulation strips & used the app to detect when were the best times . I'm so anxious & want to take a test but I'm so afraid to because I know it will likely be negative even if I am pregnant . This is our first month trying ... how long has it taken most of you ladies to conceive ?
