Fertility specialist insight needed...

So had my first apt with a fertility specialist today. Basic cycle infornation, family history, dtd time average, plus exam. Now I'm waiting a little over a week to go back for blood work since it will be post ovulation to make sure I'm actually ovulating along woth other things during the blood test.

What have you ladies that have seen a fertility specialist had to go through to get results?

I'm kind if nervous for the next apt because they gave me a information/welcome packet n in there it gives info about the exam n blood work then jumps to testing with xrays and dye in your tunes then jumps to a camera going through you.... I'm nervous as hell to know has anyone just had the basics done n had good results? Or had other testing ext..

The doctor didn't really say much besides 7 days prior to af stop in for lab work and have my s/o provide a sample plus blood work n schedule my follow up after his apt so we can get the results and go from there with treatment or more testing.
