Can I take Imodium if I think I might be going into labor soon?

I've been contracting and having prodromal labor (I think) for a few days now. I'm having really bad diarrhea cramps and loose stools on top of this which I know is my body preparing itself and cleaning itself out for labor, but I physically cannot take the pain of the diarrhea cramps on top of contractions. Would it be ok to take Imodium? I know it might make me constipated but I really don't care. Just wondering if it would affect labor at all.
