Safe for sex still?

I'm 38 +4, 100% effaced, 6-7 cm dilated and baby is at +1 station as of Monday. My water bag is in tact. Is it still safe to have sex?

Yes the baby is protected with the placenta, my dr told me only when my water breaks is when I should worry because bacteria can enter the babies surround and cause him harm. But just call in ask to be sure

I wouldn't at 6-7 cm just to be safe.. It's better to ask your doctor. Ur baby could come at any moment being dilated that far already. I would walk walk walk and walk  some more.

I would ask your doctor but from what I've heard a lot of docs will tell you to have sex when you're that far along to help induce labor. But I'm not sure since you're dilated that much?
