pregnant with a 14 month old

I'm 34 wks pregnant and I have a 14 month old son who is a huge mommas boy! I'm the only person he wants to sit with and idk if my belly can take anymore of his squirming and squishing!! My belly gets soooo sore because he's basically sitting on the baby in my tummy. How do you ladies handle that?! Dr says baby is well protected in there but I'm the one in pain! If I don't hold him he cries and screams. He doesn't understand that it hurts. Plus his dad is gone hunting this wknd so I'm stuck!
