What happens at a non-stress test?

Monday will be my first NST because I will be one day over my due date. Has anybody had one done? How long does it take and what all is involved in it? Thanks in advance ladies!

I've been having these for weeks. They strap 2 monitors on you. One for contractions and one for the baby's heart beat. They just monitor the contractions and heart beat to make sure baby isn't stressed out. It only takes like 20 minutes and you're done. Easy peasy.

You'll just lay there and they'll strap something on your belly for them to monitor the baby. They'll give you a button to push whenever you feel the baby move. In my experience, they gave me sweets (a lollipop and m&m's) for the baby to move.

I have mine twice a week and each sitting lasts about 20 minutes. Super easy! And you get to relax and listen to your baby ❤️

You just sit on a fetal monitor. Lol and relax.

It takes like an hour or so.

I had so many since I delivered at 42 weeks and I had a couple times where I needed to be monitored.
