Success trying to conceive at 44?

Hello all, I'm new to Glow and was just wondering if anyone is in their mid forties who has success conceiving naturally their first as I too am in the same boat. Looking to share my up and down journey, thus far, with someone going through a similar experience.

Turned 44 last month, TTC with our first. I'm vegetarian, a runner, and have been doing yoga since I was 13. Since May, when I had my IUD out, I've been taking prenatals. Started taking Fertility Blend two months ago and getting more serious about figuring out the timing. I just may have got it right this time. Period is a week overdue, pregnancy test is positive, and now I cross my fingers this sticks. Much luck to you, you CAN do this!

i had my sons at 41 and 44 after ten years of ttc and failed ivf. coq10 and pr seed worked for me. both boys are healthy. i have low ovarian reserve pcos thyroid disorder and am in peri menopause. it can and does happen. i truly gave up in the end x

when i gave up and accepted it would never be i fell pregnant. it took a long time for me to let it go. don't be like i was - stop hoping and wasting time for something that may never be and move on. the universe works in funny ways xx

I'm 42. 7 weeks pregnant. Been trying for 3 years. Miscarriage in February. Acupuncture is a MUST at our age as the blood circulation to our reproductive has decreased down to 1/5 of what it was when we were in our 20s. HIGHLY recommend the book The Infertility Cure by Randine Lewis. Great recommendations on supplements and other things you can do to get pregnant naturally. It is possible to get pregnant naturally at our age, but it is less probable if you don't take some serious action. Good luck!

Hi Sonia,
I am new to glow also, 43 and ttc. It's early days, only on 3rd cycle and barely learning the lingo! I am in cd 7 with taking the soy isoflavones starting this CD 2- tonight. 
I see my doc later today for some tips as I have a DD who's 10 and had no trouble with conceiving her. 
Other than a lot of bd, prenatal vitamins, vit d and feeding my partner zinc, l-carnitine, calcium, and selenium the soy isoflavones (120,120,120,200 and 200 tonight) is all we've been doing.
I try to temp, and it's hit/ miss as I have different waking times. I am pretty sure that I have been ovulating but hope that the doc can order tests to confirm. 
Wish I had a bfp to share with you, but here's hoping that it's soon!

I'm 42. I MC at 33. Delivered daughter at 35. Delivered SB son at 6 months just two years ago this week right before 40th. My daughter is 6 now and broke my heart when she asked Santa the other day for "a baby brother with a baby kit for boy stuff and a few craft things but give the toys to others boys and girls, I have enough, that's all I want ". It's complicated by the fact that my hubby is military and he is gone most of the year, about 250 days so our windows don't typically ever line up but I imagine my eggs are too old to harvest at this point. Considering making a medical appt this week after the Santa stunt! The other half of me feels to old to do this again. I'd be thrilled but if would be a battle. Good luck all!
