is it normal for a husband to spend the night out multiple times a month ?

My husband always find an excuse to stay the night out & leave me home alone . I hate it and it hurts but he sees nothing wrong with it . Is this normal ?? Do any of you ladies husband spend the night out ? He always go to his moms house, at least that's what he says but I still don't like it.
