hip dysplasia ultrasound
My little girl just had her 2 month checkup today. She is perfectly healthy, except the doctor noticed a clicking in her left side of her hip when doing his routine checks. He ordered her an ultrasound at a children's hospital for later this week. They will be looking for a dislocation or abnormality at her hip and leg socket. It doesn't sound too bad from what the doctor was explaining- a painless ultrasound and a brace for her to wear for a month or so now instead of surgery when she's older. That is if they find a problem. Just wondering if anyone also had this ultrasound done, what the outcome was and if you little one needed the brace how day to day activities were.
