Had an amnio today

I had an amnio today. He went in through my right side (hurt like a son of a bitch!!) but baby kept trying to move towards the needle so then he tried one more time through the left (hurt but not as bad) and was sucessful. I'm calm and feel pretty confident but still no matter there are the uncertainties. When can I breathe again? When do the risk of miscarriage go away? Also it's been about two-three hours since the amnio and I still feel some discomfort and pain and pressure on/in my stomach. And (TMI) I feel "wet" down there? I wouldn't call it leaking but my underwear did get a little wet but not soaked through. Should I be worried? I'm trying to stay calm after a week of water works. Any info/advice you guys can provide will be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!!
