I saw my midwife yesterday for my 1 hour glucose test. I asked if I could get an ultrasound to see my baby.... she tells me they don't usually do third trimester ultrasounds if there is no bleeding and fundal height, urine tests, blood pressure, etc are all fine. Dangit! I want to see my baby! I'm overjoyed that she is healthy and measuring well and all! But I don't want to fake issues, that get put in my medical records, just to get an ultrasound. And the hospital I would go to is kind of crappy! That's why I go to a birthing center and not the hospital. It just makes my heart skip a beat when I can see her little butt and her belly and her big head and see her heart pumping strong. I have looked at sonograms I can buy... but I'm simply not in the financial position to get one. So I'm STUCK! UGH!
