How long did your induction take?

Question

Those of you who were induced, how long did it take from the time you started till you had your baby? Also, was your cervix favorable/were you dilated at all when you got there? How many weeks were you? I'm scheduled for an induction on Monday(41 weeks) and just curious what many of you experienced timewise.

Went in at 0cm @ 6pm. I had preeclampsia. Got cervadil (I DO NOT RECCOMEND IT) around 9pm. Started feeling contractions about 11pm. Contractions were SO BAD and close together so got checked around 1am. 3cm dialated. Still had bad contractions, got checked again around 5:30am. 6-7cm. Got epidural, then about a half hour later I needed an emergency c-section because my babies heartbeat went down to the 30's due to the induction. Unless medically necessary, I don't reccomend getting induced!

I was just induced on Monday :) my water broke at 8am, nothing happened so they induced at about 3 in the afternoon. Baby Charlie was born at midnight exactly :)

I've been induced 3/4 times and each time was different. My water broke with my first son (15 years ago), but I was not progressing. It took a total of 26 hours from the time I entered the hospital until the timwnhe was born with pitocin. Woth my third son (11 years ago) I went in the night before for prep at 0CM. Came in the following morning and received pitocin around 7am. I still would not dialate and finally they had to break my water at 0CM around noon. He was not born until after 8pm that night. More recently on Saturday I was induced due to preeclampsia. I was already dialated at 2 1/2cm. Received first dosage of pitocin around 11:00 am. Contractions were coming regularly. Dialated to 3cm after about an hour. They broke my water shortly after checking me and then it went quickly from there. Gave birth right before 8pm for a total time of 9 hours. I did not have an epidural with any of my inductions. It tends to slow down the process so I opted out of receiving one.

Went in on 11/5, 7:30pm was dilated to a 2 and received 3 doses of cervix softener. Started pitocin the next morning about 9:30am, still dilated to a 2. Ended up forcing the nurse to stop the pitocin because I couldn't handle the pain. Then labored myself to a 5 and my water broke around 5-6pm. Got the epidural around 10pm. Started pitocin back up. Ended up going back off of it because baby's heartbeat was dropping. Then went into emergency csection 11/7 at 4am.

I put 8+ but it might have been 8 from thr start of the pictocin.  I was positive for gbs so i needed that shot and it took awhile for them to just start in general.

I dont know if my cervix was favorable lol
