Amniotic fluid vs. regular discharge

I may have asked this question before, and if so, I apologize, but is there a sure-fire way to tell the difference between amniotic fluid and regular vaginal discharge? I've read that amniotic fluid is more watery and doesn't really have a smell, but I've noticed that the discharge I've been having throughout this pregnancy seems more watery lately as well. I just feel like there is some overlap between the two, and I'm worried that I won't be able to tell the difference. I definitely don't want to put baby boy at risk in any way. I'm 36+3 today.
