baby boy is here..finally!

alexis
let me just start off by saying my labor was over 14 hours long and i am so exhausted it is beyond insane. my water broke 11/16/16 at 3:45 in the morning and we immediately went to the hospital because i had a cerclage in to prevent preterm labor and it hadn't been removed yet as wasn't supposed to be until 11/21/16. so we get checked in and they say they're going to stop labor as they don't like to deliver babies before 36 weeks (he was 35+2 at the time) so sure enough after they took my cerclage out i started contracting naturally and they stopped it with magnesium  so he could get the two steriod shots he needed for his lungs and i was going to be induced the next day and he would be here that same day (11/17/16) we'll they didn't start inducing me until 1pm and the contractions didn't start until 7:30  last night and didn't end until i delivered him at 9:38 this morning. i wasn't going to get anything for pain and lasted only until 3cm before i gave in and i had numorphine (spelled wrong probably) and i was so calm and relaxed (high as hell feeling) for an hour before it wore off and i was in so much pain again and they couldn't give me any more for another hour so i gave up and got an epidural (i really wasn't going too but i was in so much pain) and they put it at a 12 and after awhile i started not being able to feel like i could breathe because it had numbed up too high on my chest and while i was actually breathing perfectly fine i couldn't mentally catch my breath and had them turn it back down to a 10 and from then on i labored feeling my contractions get more and more intense as i didn't want to not be able to breathe and i didn't even reach 7cm until 8 something this morning and then i progressed to an 8/9 and then boom i was at a 10 and he was coming but they told me to stop because my doctor wasn't there so i was trying to not push and it was so hard but then she got here and after like 15/20 min of pushing he was here! 5lbs 15oz and 19 3/4 inches long, my rainbow baby Jaxon 👶🏽💙🌈
