very worried and scared

Hi guys so yesterday I was 5 weeks, I woke up in the morning with some slight cramps and light pink bleeding so took myself to a&e, my heart rate was raised and they scared me to make sure it wasn't an ectopic, thankfully it wasn't so they sent me to the early pregnancy department, by the time I got here the bleeding was a lot more and more red, i had an internal scan, the doctor said he couldn't see any baby all he could see was blood :( but he said it may just be that I'm earlier than I thought , my hcg level was 2600 I now have to wait until Tuesday to have another blood test done to see if my little bundle of joy is still with us or if I have Misscarried :( I just wanted to know if any one else had this and everything was fine ? Or if I should start dealing with the fact that I've lost it
